August 2024 Newsletter

August was a vibrant and active month at Moor House Care Home, filled with special celebrations and memorable outings. We celebrated two incredible birthdays as two of our residents turned 100 and 102, making for joyous occasions shared by all. The residents enjoyed trips to local spots, with The Bells Pub being a favorite destination, alongside outings to The Lammas Park to feed ducks and swans. We embraced the summer sunshine, tending to our garden, harvesting tomatoes, and tasting figs from our own tree. Our sunflower-growing competition brought excitement, as each resident eagerly tracked their flowers’ progress while enjoying the fresh air. Read our Newsletter to learn more!
