At Moor House, we have a strong, committed and enthusiastic team, specialising in residential care. We understand that every resident is different, which is why we create a personalised care plan for each resident. That way, we can make sure individual needs are met and that Moor House truly feels like home.
We can also support residents in arranging GP visits and other medical appointments. We have an active and dynamic social calendar developed by our dedicated activities coordinator. If residents value privacy, or wish to spend time with friends and family, we have relaxing spaces for residents to enjoy. Families and friends are always welcome to visit. They can drop in at any time, join residents for a meal, take part in one of our many activities or just spend time sitting with residents in our garden or one of our many indoor area
Our 25 thoughtfully designed bedrooms have been meticulously decorated to cater to the diverse needs of our residents. We encourage residents to bring personal items to make their room feel like their own.
To keep our residents entertained and connected, we provide a flat-screen television in each room. We also provide Wi-Fi access throughout our facility. Residents can easily stay in touch with friends and family, browse the internet or engage in online activities of their choice.
Safety and peace of mind are paramount at Moor House. That’s why each room is equipped with a nurse call system. This system ensures that help is always just a button press away, providing reassurance and support when needed.
The landscaped gardens at Moor House offer a serene environment where residents can enjoy nature's beauty, featuring vibrant flower beds and peaceful sitting areas. The potting shed provides a dedicated space for gardening enthusiasts to cultivate their favourite plants.
Residents can indulge in professional grooming and pampering services. With experienced stylists and a relaxing atmosphere, the salon ensures that residents look and feel their best.
Our newly refurbished dining room provides a stylish and comfortable setting for residents to enjoy their meals. Our lounge area is the hub of our home offers a cosy and inviting space for activities, socialising and relaxation.
Our library offers a quiet retreat with a wide selection of books for residents to enjoy. This space encourages leisurely reading and learning.
Our minibus provides convenient transportation for residents, ensuring they can easily participate in various outings in the community.
